ANTIMICROBIALS – DISINFECTANTS AGAINST HUMAN PATHOGENS

  • SyntheZyme proprietary modified sophorolipid compositions are highly active against a broad spectrum of human pathogens

  • 100 to 1000 fold higher activity than natural (unmodified) sophorolipids.

SyntheZyme’s modified SLs are effective oil dispersing and emulsifying agents against all major crude oils 1. Rapid displacement of an (Arabian light) crude oil layer on top of sea water by addition of SyntheZyme’s modified SL. 2. Dispersion activity is on par with Triton X-100, a petro-chemically derived industry standard for this application

BIO-CLEANER – HOUSE HOLD APPLICATIONS

Synthezyme is developing bio-cleaners using modified sophorolipids as washing and cleaning agents (in liquid and powder form) to replace currently used petrochemically derived detergents.

  • Use of modified sophorolipids as detergent in cleaning agents

  • Replace chemical detergents by 50%, 75% and 100% with modified sophorolipids

  • Biodegrade upon disposal in waste/sewage water processing facilities.
